Bomboná was born from a serendipitous meeting in a foreign land. As international students—Laura, a proud Colombian, and her husband Mao, who is from Taiwan—they discovered a shared mission: to build a cultural bridge that spans continents.

Now based in Taipei, they have turned this vision into a personal mission. Laura brings the soul, heritage, and ancestral mastery of her homeland, while Mao provides the global perspective to introduce these treasures to the world. Together, they are redefining the narrative of Colombian craftsmanship, blending the vibrant spirit of the Andes with a sophisticated global elegance.
