Return and Refund Policy
We hope you love your Bomboná pieces, but if for any reason you’re not satisfied with your order, we’re here to help.
1. Returns Eligibility
You may return your item within 14 calendar days following the date of delivery, provided it is in perfect condition and in its original packaging with all included accessories.
2. Exchanges (New Purchase Required)
We do not offer direct exchanges. To ensure you receive the new item as quickly as possible and to guarantee inventory availability, please:
Place a new order for the desired item.
Follow the standard return process (below) for the original item to receive a refund.
3. International Shipping & Customs
Please be aware that shipping from Colombia involves international transit and local customs processing.
Customs Delays: Bomboná is not responsible for delays caused by the destination country’s customs clearance process. A refund will not be issued for items currently held in customs. An item is only considered “lost” once officially declared so by the carrier after a formal investigation.
Duties and Taxes: Any customs duties, taxes, or brokerage fees applied by the destination country are the sole responsibility of the customer. These are not included in our shipping rates.
4. Package Refusal & Abandonment
If a delivery is refused by the customer due to unpaid customs duties/taxes, or if the customer fails to collect the package after multiple delivery attempts, the following rules apply:
Receipt Requirement: A refund will only be processed once the goods have been physically received back at our warehouse in their original condition.
Mandatory Deductions: The following costs will be deducted from your total refund:
The original outgoing shipping cost.
The return shipping fees charged by the carrier to bring the item back to us.
Any storage fees or administrative penalties levied by customs or the courier.
Abandonment: In cases where return costs exceed the value of the goods, we may instruct the carrier to abandon the package. In such instances, no refund will be issued.
5. Steps to Process Your Return
Contact Us: Email us at support@bombonacolombia.com to request a return authorization form.
Complete the Form: Fill out the form online and send your item back to us within the 14-day return period, as recorded by our courier.
Inspection and Refund: Once we receive and approve your item, we will refund the product amount (minus any applicable fees mentioned in Section 4) to the card used for payment.
6. Shipping Responsibilities
Return Costs: Return shipping costs are the customer’s responsibility.
Lost or Late Returns: Bomboná is not responsible for lost, misdirected, or delayed returns. We strongly recommend using a reliable, trackable shipping method to ensure your item reaches us.
